Solid Core doors are unique to other Composite doors. Composite doors are purely foam-filled, in comparison to the layers of aluminium and plywood sheets of a Solid Core door. Because of our strong focus on security, we have also included an ‘Auto-Engage’ locking system, and a Snap-Secure locking cylinder with maximum compression. If you want the most attractive and secure door on your street, the Extreme Solid Core Door is the only way to go.

To guarantee robust construction, the Solid Core Forte door has a conventional foam core interspersed with horizontal wooden plinths enclosed between thin aluminium sheets and exterior-grade plywood. For further resistance, a robust 4mm GRP covering surrounds this.

This combination of materials will significantly increase your door’s security and thermal performance. You may feel secure knowing that our core and the Extreme locking system satisfy the police-recognised strict “Secure by Design” criteria. This is a fortress, not simply an entrance.

Slam-shut hardware - We don’t believe there’s a door range out there like the Solid Core collection and it’s hard to disbelieve that when you see the brushed silver slam-shut hardware that can go with it. For a contemporary effect, choose our bow and bar handle configurations, or stay traditional with a cottage-style cylinder pull, which will offer sturdiness and security. Either option will provide a fantastic defence against any wannabe intruders.
