They might be influenced by an old window design, but our UPVC flush casements are ideal for new-build homes.
Wooden flush casements used to be extremely prevalent in British homes, but advances in window technology saw them phased out. We thought they were due a revival and so created a modern flush casement. However, they’re not made from wood – we use UPVC instead.
This makes them much easier to clean and maintain than traditional timber flush casements, and our flush casements also have the same sort of hardware. Finished on the inside and outside in a classic white colour, the window furniture has been superbly interpreted and has all the hallmarks of flush casement hardware.
Each flush casement for this installation was decorated with Georgian bar detailing and it’s made the house so much warmer than it was before. It’s also a more secure home. The multi-point locking mechanism keeps the windows tight to the frame when they’re locked, meaning they won’t shift an inch when pressure is applied to them.
The white coloured finish is a wonderful contrast to the black finish used on the front and garage doors. Seeing how well these flush casements fit into this contemporary residence, tells you that they can work anywhere. If your new home could do with an historic touch, flush casements are the way to go.
