Keep faithful to your old conservatory and upgrade its roof…

We have been able to revive so many conservatories in West Yorkshire, just by taking down their old roofing systems and fitting them with a custom-built tiled roof. The job of adding a tiled roof will only take a few days, so you won’t have to wait long to get back to enjoying an extended living space that feels how you remember it doing.

There isn’t a conservatory style that we haven’t efficiently reformed with a tiled roof – Victorian, Edwardian, Lean-To, and Gable designs, we’ve done them all! Every shape and size of conservatory can accommodate the product because of its versatility and the immense skill of our highly talented team, who harness their long experience to provide bespoke solutions.

Tiled Roof Conservatory
The benefits of a solid tiled roof will make your investment into one go so far…

There doesn’t seem much point in having an extra living room at home if for part, or almost the entire year, you can’t use it because it’s poorly insulated in summer and winter. A solid roof will sort that out and make it a season-round space, just like it should always be. The composition of a solid roof consists of an insulated plywood and rigid insulation board, which will together stop the weather outside from having a negative effect on internal thermal comfort.

Solid Tiled Roof Conservatory
Experience a more luxurious form of conservatory living…

Your conservatory surroundings in West Yorkshire will have a more opulent undertone after a solid tiled roof has been fitted to it. Light won’t quite penetrate its way in to the same level as a conservatory with a glass or polycarbonate roof, but they’ll be a generous extent of it within the space during the day. For an authentic look, the roof possesses perfectly imitated slates and tiles.

Replacement Tiled Roof Extension
Some solid roofs don’t come with any red tape…

Any solid roof that has endorsement from LABC (Local Authority Building Control) is more likely to receive Building Regulations Approval than one that hasn’t. LABC are very particular about what replacement roofing systems are used for conservatory modifications and our solid roof complies with all their requirements, deemed by them as a safe and secure building product.

You don’t need to know the slightest thing about Building Regulations as we have great awareness of them and will work on your behalf to obtain Building Regulations Approval should it be needed.

FINISH YOUR REPLACEMENT TILED ROOF OFF IN STYLE

The lifelike tiles and slates can be coated in a number of hard-wearing finishes and there are shades that will help the roof effortlessly blend into the structure and supplement your windows, doors, guttering, fascias and more.

One or more roof windows will invite the sun in...

Our solid roof can come with ready built-in roof windows, pitched in a section of the system where the sun can best get into the conservatory without it being overbearing. These windows can either be non-opening or offer an opening function so that you can rely on them for ventilation in summer.

You may decide that one roof window may not be enough and that’s fine as we can add further glass panels of a matching or dissimilar size or shape to the covering. These windows will deliver an aerial view that you will struggle to take your eyes off.

Solid Tiled Roofs
There are two distinct tile varieties...

A traditional conservatory roof is considerably heavier than a tiled roof and it’s the lightness of our replacement roofing system that often enables it to be added to old conservatory designs without their existing windows and base needing to be updated.

The roof can come with lightweight, convincing tiles or slates, depending on which of the two you believe to best complement the tiles and slates used on your house, and a variety of hard-wearing finishes can be chosen from.

Get your ageing window frames upgraded

White is the colour you most associate with UPVC conservatories, but West Yorkshire Windows has a colour palette that extends beyond white, covering a broad spectrum of superb maintenance-free finishes.

You’re going to love the diverse selection of shades we have, such as a Hazy Grey or cute Chartwell Green. Make no mistake, it’s highly unusual for so many roof colour options to be available, but that’s West Yorkshire Windows for you!

These aluminium powder-coated finishes can resist fading and the ageing process…

How do you get your aluminium finishes looking so good? It’s the question on many customer’s lips and the secret behind it is the 11-stage powder coating technique that we adhere to when colour-coating the frames.

A separate procedure is followed to create our aluminium woodgrain finishes of Rosewood, Walnut, and Oak, and it’s called sublimation. This method helps to establish a wood-like effect on the frames, giving them the unmistakable appearance of timber.

Choose between a timber or plasterboard internal finish...

A timber clad ceiling will generate a cosy cabin ambience in your living space, with its rich, dark finish most coming to the fore in the winter months. For a more minimalist effect, request a painted plasterboard internal finish, which is a certain winner.

Solid Tiled Roofs
Our roof tiles are extremely durable...

Take your pick of five potential tile colour options, with three of them being brown, grey, and red. If you put these tiles in your hand, they have the same feel of stone-coated steel and promise a similar standard of robustness. Should you prefer slates, they can be finished in black, grey, and red.
